Dr Mark is the principal dentist and founder of Ferrari Dental Care, he has been providing high-quality dental care to the community since 1986. Dr Mark and his team strive to uphold the high standard of care and gentle dentistry that he is so used to providing. As he so often says “My aim is always to make your dental experience the best you have ever had”. The quality of care and reputation of Ferrari Dental Care is a testament to this.

Having graduated from the University of Queensland in 1984, Dr Mark moved to Melbourne soon after. Originally being a Victorian local, he wanted to live and practice in Melbourne, working for a year in Dingley before moving to Eltham in 1986. He has since been serving the community in Eltham and surrounding suburbs.

Dr Mark Ferrari strongly believes in continuous professional development and learning. He has completed a number of postgraduate courses in dentistry across Australia, along with staying up to date with the latest in dental techniques and technology. His passion for dentistry, thirst for knowledge combined with his many years of experience allows him to give his patients the best in gentle dental care.

Dr Mark is very passionate about changing the traditional perception or ‘fear’ of the dentist by providing gentle dental treatments while ensuring his patients are comfortable and relaxed. What he finds the most rewarding is when patients say, after treatment, that it was the gentlest, best experience they have ever had at the dentist. Amongst the satisfaction of seeing his patient’s positive experience, Dr Mark enjoys building long-term relationships with his patients and their families. Many of whom he has been seeing for over 30 years, their kids as they grew into adults and even their kids.

Like Dr Mark, his team live up to the mantra of Ferrari Dental Care, providing patients with the positive experience of gentle dentistry. Some of his team have been a part of the Ferrari Dental Care family for over 25 years, continuing to practice his philosophy of care.

Outside dentistry Dr Mark is an avid motorcyclist, mountain bike rider and he also loves to train at the local gym. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two children Tyler and Georgia as well as his wife Lisa. Often, Dr Mark can be found out on the mountain bike tracks in the Nillumbik hills, tinkering in the garage on one of his motorbikes or in the gym keeping fit. He’s quite handy in the kitchen and cooks a great lasagne. Chicken schnitzels are a family favourite too!
